About Nucleèa Atelier

My name is Justyna Marcinkowska and I created Nucleèa Atelier to give more space to my passions, dreams and the need to make things with my own hands.

The brand grew from a wide collection of interests, but visually it keeps returning to a few strong obsessions: expressive colour, biomorphic forms, fluid shapes and atmospheric objects. That is where collections like Biomorphic and Spheric come from, as well as the lamps created in the atelier.

I am also deeply drawn to exact sciences. Mathematics, physics and chemistry fit naturally into this process, not as something cold or distant, but as a quiet structure behind beauty. Resin moves because of viscosity, temperature, gravity and time. Pigments separate, collide and settle according to rules that are partly controllable and partly impossible to fully command. I like that tension. For me, making objects is a conversation between intention and matter.

These pieces are not meant to be perfectly sterile. Many resin artists remove almost every air bubble using heat or vacuum techniques. Here, the process is controlled differently. Some traces of what people often call imperfection are intentionally left visible.

To me, those details feel alive, fluid and creative.

Most collections are built around cobalt, magenta, deep greens, gold accents and cosmic tones. From time to time, calmer pieces appear too, always connected to the same visual world.

Animals are another huge part of my life. I love them probably more than is reasonable, and I am not planning to become more reasonable any time soon. That love also inspired the idea of preserving tiny personal traces, like fur or feathers, in jewellery.
